Gotta love a good get together, huh! I literally have the best friends in the world. Having spent a day planning and building the new box at the Dufferin Grove skate pad it was only fair to organise another game of BLADE to try and make back some of the money that Dave and Dan put into the project. It seems that the new arrangement is a great way to get everyone together on a regular basis and it keeps Sushi in parts for his skates. Seriously, dude is on a hot streak. I’d love to see us put one of these together on the reg, the atmosphere was amazing. I can’t wait for the next one!

Help us fund the awesome box we just built! We raised 1/3 of it with the last game of B.L.A.D.E and were hoping to raise some more this time. Dan and I took a hit of about $150 each, so anything helps. If we somehow raise more than that at the session, we’ll give the extra money to the winner of the game. Shop-Task will be providing a prize to the winner this time too.

Come out to Dufferin Grove on wednesday.

Because we rollerskate today, we will go to college tomorrow.

Also, HANS HIRSBRUNNER won the Dufferin Grove BLADE sesh last Friday! Well, Ledoux won it because he’s a beast, but he graciously gave Hans (the narrow runner-up) the Valo TV3s that AJ donated from Shop Task!

The New Toronto Underpass Skatepark

A new park popped up in the east end, under the highway that runs from the gardiner to the dvp. It kind of reminds me of the plaza skatepark in Vancouver.. only a bit smaller. But still really fun. Check out a few clips we snagged on my iphone.

This is going to be a spot where we can chill out, and have some fun skating little grind boxes and a solid p-rail. We’re all looking forward to hanging out here this summer. The lights are on til 11pm, and its convenient for a lot of us to get to downtown.
