TNS is back- this week we’re busting out the box again at Iceland for another legendary box session (pro tip: you should be there). To get your juices flowing and put you in the mood, here’s an edit of a recent TNS that Aaron Wheat put together this weekend.

_Varsity Ledge TNS, 16/07

With no lift in place to whisk us away to the Icy playground, Taylor and I found ourselves at a bit of a loose end. Ghent is away, so who are we meant to turn to for direction? After consulting Ghent’s bible, we realised that we really just wanted to hit a ledge and the Varsity seemed as good as any. First there are a couple of shots of Erik and Blair at the Bathurst and Dundas park, then the rest of the shots are from the evening’s skate.

Blair gets first photo with an awesome top mistrial, even more incredible that he managed it with a skateboarder wedged firmly up his backside.

_TNS Iceland, 9th of July

Its funny how we can convince ourselves that even the most serious of injuries are trivial enough to skate through, have you ever noticed that? A brutal injury mellows out into a dull ache when the absence of skating becomes too much to bear. And so I find myself at Iceland on a Thursday night with my skates, jonesing for the buzz of a good hard skate.

After skating for an hour or two, I took off my skates and picked up my camera instead. Dan took first blood and helped me find a focus point with this negative acid.

Steve Kiley was a very excited man- first session on his new Razor Genesis 7s! Alleyoop Mistrial to break in the soulplates.
