Job Post: Teach rollerblading at the Brampton Skatepark

So I recently got an email from Sean Mindle, the head instructor for inline at the Brampton Park. He’s looking for an instructor this summer to teach rollerblading on Saturday mornings. See his description:

It would only be one day a week, which is Saturday mornings from like 10am to 1pm. There is two age groups, first being ages 10-18 and second being 19+, so the individual needs to enjoy working with children and confident enough to teach adults (Potentially). Staff training begins at the end of April.

If this interests you then send me an email, and I can refer you to him. If I didn’t have a fulltime job I would definitely consider this – it would be a lot of fun. I have taught rollerblading before and it’s truly rewarding. It’s definitely not for the money, but if you enjoy inspiring a young blader then this is for you. But you still get paid to blade!

Send me an email to dave@bramptoncomp.com if you’re interested and I’ll be happy to refer you to Sean.

Also be sure to check out the Brampton Comp which will be happening sometime in June this year.

How to Brick a Ledge

I have been meaning to make one for a while, and the opportunity finally smacked me in the face. If you’re interested in checking out the ledge, you can find it on our Blading Street Spots tab under Davisville Ledges.
