I randomly got an email a while back from my friend James Fisher asking “hey do you want some visitors?” Since I can’t blade, and can only live vicariously through others, I said sure, come on down.
James loaded his little VW Rabbit full, and showed up with Cody Boulay, Mikey Blair and Brian Weis.
The week consisted of:
-car crashes
-head wounds
-NHL 09 smack talk
-Mr. Noodles/E Z Mac

Big thanks to Rebecca for being so understanding for having a bunch of strangers crash with us, and a shout out to the SWS crew.

So many birthdays in December! Recently we’ve been swapping skate videos for photoshop hack jobs. Forgive us; it started snowing hard this week and we seem to have forgotten how to cope with it.
We’ve already had a couple of birthdays this month (Dub and Ghent). However neither of these have had quite as significant a buildup as the slow spiral of despair edging Kevin Chow ever closer to today… Kevin is 30.
As the clock ticked over into this morning Kevin learned that his new senior citizen status prevented him from being able to drive. So Chowsa took PUBLIC TRANSIT. That’s right, Kevin Chow used the subway here in Toronto and we have this shaky security camera image to prove it-
The other harbingers of the apocalypse are sure to be along soon. Happy birthday, buddy! And welcome to the club ; )

We recently went to CJ’s skatepark for a quick skate amidst all the rainy weather we have been having in Toronto lately. Some of you haven’t seen the new street course they have built, so you may want to check it out for that alone. To save you the suspense… it’s terrible. The only thing worth skating is the vert ramp. Nonetheless, it’s the best indoor park we have in Toronto. Here I have some footage of myself, Dan Lefebre, and Kevin Chow skating some of the park. We had fun blading, and thats all that matters. The track used is Video Tapez (ft. Del the Funky Homosapien) by AmpLive, appropriately from their Rainydayz Remixes album.
