_Ben and Dre visit Toronto

In May two of my best friends visited Toronto for two weeks to catch up, hang out and generally save on time talking on msn. Ben Sach is a very talented video editor and Dre is one of the nicest, weirdest, funniest gents in the world. They got searched at arrivals in both directions, ate enormous quantities of Lucky Charms, drank Mountain Dew and root beer by the gallon and skated far more in a fortnight than they previously had in a year. Here is the skate video!

Ben has made several edits you might have seen online, such as the Rummaged Montage-

and the Rampworks 10 official final edit.

Dre has made all kinds of advances in the streamlining of global mining software. And has a wicked haircut.

_Taylor and Guy at Garrison Creek

So its been at least two weeks since I posted anything and I swore that would never happen… good grief, we suck at updating. Speaking of which, Wheat owes us some BBQ photos!

Here’s a session that Taylor and I filmed one sunny afternoon at the Garrison Creek (/Stanley Park /Slaughterhouse) ledges.

Expect another edit of last night’s bike gang tour of the city. Oh yes, BIKE GANG. We’re THAT cool.

_Victoria Day Disarray.

What could be better than a long weekend to mark the beginning of what is looking to be a great summer in Toronto. All of the blokes, hardheads, and crackerjacks made it out to a rousing session at Ellesmere Park and Garrison Creek yesterday. If it is any indication of what is to come, how can we not be excited for this summer. We seem to slowly be taking over every park and spot we go to. Busted shins (Jay Smith), dirt covered tees (Jong), and the smell of rendered pigs aside, the skating went off like last nights fireworks. Full size pics at our Flickr link.
