Its been a week, but its been worth every second of the wait. I happen to believe that the people I skate and hang out with are the coolest people on the planet, so I love that we’re taking representation seriously- I mean, have you seen the quality of the footage in this edit? Of course not, you’re probably reading this first, and good for you. Take my word for it, its going to blow the top of your mind off and possibly even leave you with some permanent damage.
Dan Lefebre is filming on a Canon 5d Mk2 using a combination of a 15mm fisheye lens and a 200mm lens and the results are breathtaking. Things you need to know about the event- Nick Wood handled the BBQ like a champ; We (well, Steve Kiley, but we were there in spirit) built our own grindbox and it ROCKED the pants off of the event, completely stealing the focus from the rest of the park; Some dude cut his head open but kept on skating regardless and Max Free hammered the biggest, gnarliest step up gap in the park… but I don’t know where the footage is.
Nonetheless- here’s Dan Lefebre’s latest HD edit, I hope you enjoy it, thanks to Dan for putting in work and thanks again to REMZ,
SHOP TASK, STREET ARTIST and VIBRALUX for their love and support, Brampton City Council for the clearance to use the park and DAVE GHENT for running the show. Can’t wait for next year! You can see a recap of the event up at Be-Mag as well.

While we eagerly await the final Brampton Contest 4 official Roll Toronto video edit, I thought I’d put a post together to showcase some of the extraordinarily good photos that people took of the event.
This first collection were taken by Huy Le who has been consistently churning out fantastic photos recently; its great to see a photographer who is constantly developing their style.
The second collection of photos come from Chris Dowswell, whose other work you can see on his blog HERE.
The video should be with you early next week ; )

All right, all right- I know almost every single person who checks this blog was there anyway, so you all know the results- but for those of you who don’t know, the Brampton Comp was a complete success today! Over 150 people showed up and over 60 people entered this WRS Event.
I’d like to take the opportunity to thank Dave Ghent who has tirelessly worked with Brampton Council to organise the event year after year, Corey Grantham who was instrumental in co-ordinating with the WRS staff and bringing Remz pro-rider Nick Wood into the mix and Steve Kiley for building the latest edition to the park hardware, the 14 ft long 3 ft high Roll Toronto grindbox!
