I spoke with Austin Paz in NY last week and he’s been nice enough to send me some copies of the Truth 2 for Rolltoronto.ca I’m going to be trying to co-ordinate a screening of the DVD at my house and I will also have copies of it available for sale.

Every summer Erik dissappears for months at a time. Where does he go? Only the most awesome skate playground in the world, Camp Woodward East. Camp Woodward just gave Erik a full profile along with some awesome photos (some of which we showed you earlier this summer) but you can see the whole interview now right here. Erik is such a well-rounded skater which I really respect. Congratulations buddy! The interview is by the legendary Mike Bennett.

I Roll NY is one of my favourite rolling sites on the web. I respect how they’ve developed their scene and its fantastic to see the response at their events. Here in town we’ll be getting together to have a premiere after Christmas and also showing TML2: The Breakdown which features Chris Farmer, Jeph Howard and Brett Dasovic… Exciting times for rollerblading!

The weather has been quite harsh lately and tonight the temperature was hovering near -4. Wheat, Taylor and I were itching for a skate. Since the indoor parks here suck we packed up the generator and lights and headed to Iceland skate park which coincidentally was covered in ice. To our advantage the park lights were actually on and there was just enough exposed concrete to lace a few lines. Aside from skating we also filmed the whole session for a little holiday edit, hope you enjoy.

I’m off to Halifax tomorrow for vacation so there may be an edit from the east coast. Happy holidays everyone!
