_Blair checks in- From Regina.

I got an email from Blair today!

Hey Guy,

Just wanted to let you know that my trip has been amazing so far. I have been surprised and blown away by our countries natural beauty and the wonderful people I’ve come across throughout my trip. It has been hard leaving every stop, because everyone has been so much fun and extremely generous.

Other than Montreal for the Classic I’ve stopped in Ottawa, Sudbury, Sault St. Marie, Thunder Bay, Winnipeg and many large and small towns in between. I have skated either park or street in most of the above mentioned stops. The ones that I’ve missed I plan to skate them on my return home.

I’m sorry I haven’t posted on rolltoronto. Other than on my iPhone I haven’t been able to get wireless anywhere. I hope to be able to send you pictures of my trip soon.

I hope all is well with you and all the guys back in Toronto.

Take care,
-Blair

Safe travels, buddy!

_Labour Day Weekend

How was everyone’s labour day? A bunch of us went to our cottage in Quebec this weekend for some fun and games : )

Aslan leads the cannonball charge into the lake (thanks to Taylor and Marianne for filming).

This week we’ll have photos for you from The Montreal Classic-

AJ Unity

…along with a new segment where we ask some of the world’s top pro skaters to talk about their changing attitudes toward skating. We got some really interesting and thought-provoking answers, so keep a look out for that midweek.

TNS will be at the Ashridges Bay skatepark downtown this week; its been open for a while now so a christening session has been long overdue. For directions you can always rely on Dave Ghent. Although, maybe not in this case. Coxwell and Lakeshore, do I really have to google it for you? ; )

_Sunrise Skate Battle photos

Ok, so its been a busy week, and after the total rollerblading overkill of last weekend (awesome, wasn’t it?) I think a lot of us really just needed a time out to get our strength and spirit back. Dave, Wheat and I had a grindbox session at the bank in high park, Erik asked me out to take some photos, and we’ve been planning for our weekend at the cottage.

Here’s the sunshine skate battle pics!
