_Mike David is an absolute beast!

I’d love to spend an hour in Mike’s head when he’s rollerblading sometime just to see what his thought process is like. I imagine it goes something like this: “lalala metal makes me smile, oh look, a massive gap to grind, skate faster, give ‘er, roll away, air guitar”. I find the idea of being so blasé about hammer skating completely fascinating as I cannot relate to it in any way. To see Mike completely at home with it scares the crap out of me. How does he do it? Did he bump his head as a kid?

Mike once told me “Growing up skating in Simcoe, you’d end up doing the gnarliest shit just because that’s all there was to skate”. Personally I think he’s an adrenaline junkie who has pushed his own boundaries so far that he is the only person who can see his limits, but either way I’m proud to call him my friend.
