While the boys headed off to Montreal with Stefan, Dan, Jay Smith and myself took a little trip to my home town of Guelph. A beautiful day filled to the brim with spots, albeit one being too deadly and 2 being capped, we still had a good session in the sun. Hometown hero Warren Wray met up with us at Guelph’s newest and first outdoor skatepark to join in. Returning home sun burnt and exhausted, thought I might as well upload some photos from the day. Higher res pics on our Flickr page of course.
Oh, and edit coming soon as well.
Jay’s tribute to the late King of Pop. I heard he died or something?

Jay with one of those unity tricks. I forget, savannah, frontside unity, backside alleyoop unity. Something like that.

Sorry again, forget your name. Guelph local with a huge 540 over the pyramid.

Home town hero Warren Wray with a back royale up and across.

Jason with a back farv across the ledge.

I must have skated this sign back in the late 90′s, so Jay wanted to show me up and destroy it in my face. Mission accomplished.

Next spot up was the famous Lourdes ledge. Guelph is known for it. Dan with a soul grind.

Jason followed that up with a ‘so fresh and so clean’ backside unity.

Sorry Jay, I had to put this one in. Fish brain split.

After missing the last trick, Jay decided to land landed a front royale on the banister.

Dan eyes up the final spot of the day, Jay and I were too burnt out to skate it, so we let Dan have all the glory.

The last trick of the day, Dan with a kindgrind to 180 gap. You better axe somebody.
