_Did the Conference mess up the Carbons?

I love the look of the carbons. Sleek, streamlined and original (if you discount the Air Jordans they completely rip off), I’d class them as the best looking skates I’ve seen in a good few years. After hearing that Deshi would be closing its doors to amalgamate with the USD brand, it was inevitable that we’d soon start to see some prototypes popping up online, these courtesy of Powerslide UK czar Adam Kola, who also shoots for One magazine.

This is the first stealth shot to surface, along with an official product image… The USD SK Carbon skate.

I don’t know… I kind of like them as they were and I see a lot of the Broskows in these. What do you think?

    I like these USD carbons. I agree… they look a little bit like the Valo. Quite stylish.

    Although, I think the Original Deshi carbon looked better. They stand out from the crowd. Some differences that I see: non ratcheting buckle; non-shiney heel; leather strap.

    I wish I skated more so I could justify dropping the $500 on a pair of carbons.
