_Triple session post!

Toronto is awake! It seems that nearly every day I read online that older heads are strapping their skates on again, or people tell me about cool little sessions that are going down all over the GTA.

Last night I got to be a part of the first massive TNS of the year and it warmed the cockles of my heart to see so many rollerbladers turn out. Its going to be a landmark summer for us here in the greatest city in the world- I for one cannot wait!

Dub sent me an edit of him and Steve Kiley street skating through the High Park area of the city, which is here for your viewing pleasure:

CJ’s has been making more of an effort recently to win over our hearts and minds after a fairly awful winter of piss-poor ramps and blatent disrespect. The arrival of a Wednesday night joint blade/bike night has been a welcome one- mainly as it keeps the vert ramp clear of those pesky skateboarders! The bikers generally keep to themselves and frankly look as frustrated with the street layout as we are so it seems to work fairly well so far.

This week our vert night saw a large contingent with Mike Gallant, Alex Armbruster, the always elusive Stu Campbell, Dave Ellis and myself being joined by Colin Parrish for a full-on vert shred. I have the utmost respect for people who are exceptional at vert skating. It almost feels like a completely different sport sometimes, but its sooooo much fun.

TNS pics will be up soon, hopefully Huy got some good ones : )
